Virtus Diversified REIT intends to focus on acquiring quality cash flowing properties properties in strong secondary and tertiary markets across Canada and the United States.

The goal is to build a strong and stable commercial, industrial, retail, and multi-unit residential portfolio, enhancing overall portfolio incomes by diversifying the tenant base and geographic location.

Mr. Will has over 15 years of experience holding executive positions at international marketing and investment firms. Mr. Will is Trustee of Virtus Diversified REIT. In this capacity, his primary focus is to develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives to grow the Canadian investor network among family offices, EMD, and CIRO member firms.

Mr. Wolfe is also the Vice President, Operations for Virtus Financial Group. In this capacity he oversees all Operations and manages all staff of Virtus. He also oversees the firm’s regulatory compliance regime including supervision and risk management of all compliance-related activities. Mr. Wolfe has over 15 years of experience building and leading teams through divisional turnarounds. Previously, he consulted for national media companies where his projects focused on financial management and operational improvements to maximize revenue.

Virtus Diversified REIT is open to qualified investors via Offering Memorandum. Investors may purchase units in the trusts through their Investment Advisor. Permitted and accredited clients, as defined by securities regulations, may purchase directly through Virtus Capital Management or other approved Exempt Market Dealers. The minimum investment is $5,000.

TORONTO, Oct 06, 2025 (FINANCIAL POST) — Virtus Capital Corporation, the asset manager of Virtus Diversified REIT (VREIT), is pleased to announce the strategic disposition of its RVilla Caledonia Residence property, a retirement home located at 339 Argyle St S, Caledonia, Ontario. The sale was finalized as of September 2025, for a purchase price of $6,125,000.00.

The president of Woodbridge, Ont.-based Virtus Capital Corporation and executive vice-president of capital markets for Virtus Diversified REIT is confident about the sector, but site visits are never a bad idea.

How Canada’s ‘grey wave’ is making seniors’ housing the hottest real estate play in town

While other real estate categories such as offices and apartments are still struggling, the senior housing sector has been experiencing a surprising rebound, fueled by Canada’s aging population.

2“Tax-Efficient” and “Tax-advantaged” income means that because of the general ability of real estate owners (like Virtus Diversified Real Estate Investment Trust) to deduct capital cost allowances (CCA) against income, current taxes may be reduced and/or deferred; whereas with an interest bearing instrument, such as a bond, no such offset from capital cost allowances are available. There is no guarantee that this will be the case in the future.

3“Methodical pricing with lower volatility” means that property values are based on a methodical process involving a number of highly skilled professionals. The iterative calculation is driving by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) values of the Properties. Valuation methods would follow standard valuation guidelines used in the industry and third-party appraisers would be accredited professionals. This methodical pricing means that in the absence of changes in property net operating income, which tends to move with inflation with other conditions remaining the same, or capitalization rates, valuations tend to move slowly over time compared to how stocks can move constantly and with great volatility over the course of the day (or any other investment horizon). As such, methodical pricing would tend to be associated with lower volatility.
